How to obtain Criminal record certificate from SPain

I’m a indian citizen working inUSA.
I tried the instructions given on the CIC website and ministry of justice.es website and also contacted Indian embassy in Madrid and Spanish consulate in USA. But the indian embassy in madrid says they wouldnt be able to apply on my behalf as they are not aware of that process all they can do is certiy my passport copies.

What is the best bet for my situation. Did any one has to go through the same process.

The info related to how to obtain Spain criminal records are accurate. They can be requested by mail if you live in the exterior or in person in Madrid; ONLY those who lived in Spain and have documents of residency or citizenship can request it. The cost for each certification is 3.50 euros plus mail expenses.

Have you live legally in Spain for more than six? You hv to live minimum six legally for that period of time.if you had here is a clue; call Spanish consulate or embassy in Canada they will tell the best way to obtain police certificate.or here is another call this lady in Madrid her # is 915285346 she work with ministro del justicia central en Madrid her name is Ana I think will cost you 100$ dollars.about 80 € go for it if you really need it.

Hello Jujufe,

The contact number you gave me does she speaks spanish only or english too. I stayed more than 2 and half years legally. I contacted the Spanish embassy in US and they said i have to apply through the indian embassy in Madrid. I also contacted Indian Embassy in Madrid and tenerife but they said they won't be able to apply on my behalf as they are not aware of the process. The tenerife indian consulate members have to told me that they would find the details from ministry of justice and let me know.

Can you try to help me if you know any one who can get the certificate done pls.

I hv never spoke with her in English we both communicate in Spanish you can do that findin yourself by calling her.my advice is if you want it so urgent it's better to go through her because government might not cost you nothing but will likely take all year round.

I called her this morning but she doesn't speak english. I had a tough time to talk to her. Do you have her e-mail id where i can mail her?
