How to monitor my application

I was hoping if someone can help me once again regarding sponsoring my misses! I have mail the application pack to Mississauga a week and a half ago, how do I know if they have received it and processing it?? I tried to go on the CIC website to try and see if I could check he status of my application but not sure which number to input as I tied the number from my receipt which I got for paying the fees. Any help or suggestions??? Thanks!! ;D

Do you have our own Client ID? If you came to Canada as a PR, then you should have one. Try using that number and provide your own details (Family name, date of birth etc). You should then be able to view the status of your application once it is in process (not before).

You won't know until they e-mail you(when they open it, which is right now taking 55 days before they do so), you'll get a client ID. Until then, you will just have to wait sadly

hi harjeet,
you cant check your status yet because they will not update your file for next 40-50 days until they start processing your case.
we have been waiting for last 57 days just to confirm if they received our file or not. dont worry and stay calm
your name looks like indian especially punjabi, im i right ???

Hey try this link https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en just put your application no. or your reciept no. and you will know the progress of your application Cheers!
