How to Let Commissioner Sign the Common Law Declare Form Online

Hi,

I just know the new online application system for TRV. When I apply, I need to provide IMM5409 to declare common-law relationship. But in the end of that form, it requires name and signature of Commissioner of Oath. As far as I know, there is no place to write real signature for online application (all electronic signature) and the system doesn't accept scanned form. Just wonder how could I get a commissioner or notary public to fill this form.

Also, is it still possible to walk in NY Consulate to apply for TRV? Can I get the visa right after that or sooner than waiting for online application?

Thanks for the help.

hi we have the same situation. i am having trouble with the statutory declaration form thing. i am inside canada and i want to extend my trv bec its expiring very soon im stuck on this signature thing and commissioner of oath as well with the family representative authorization form. because the authorization form cannot be saved so you really need to print and sign then scan again and upload. im not sure if its right but its the only thing you can do. i hope if you get the solution you can share it with me.
