I am Surabhita from India,
i applied in april 2018 for student visa i got married in june and also got student visa in june i am now in canada and my husband want to apply for SOWP.
now how can i inform cic for my marital status update

please help!
i also dont know that how can i see my updated status ?

I guess you should just follow the normal process of spouse visa. IRCC will figure it out by your marriage certificate and dates mentioned on it that you obtained study permit prior to your wedding. Its not a big deal. Be honest no need to panic.
Further if you apply open work permit for your husband then its better option. By doing this he can work also in Canada for the duration of your study permit.
