How to go to victoria, BC from Vancouver ?

i have to go to victoria,bc from new delhi near 20 august, coz im going to univ. of victoria , I wanna book flight in advance how to book the flight? what is the fare and stops,
i saw some flights are via frankfurt and london, dont know if transit visa is required for these stops,
is this the route :
delhi - frankfurt/london - vancouver - victoria ?

or i should go to vancouver by flight and then from vancouver to victoria by train ?

When you land in Vancouver you need to take a ferry to Victoria. There's a help desk agent in the airport to buy tickets. Or I guess they also have a website to buy tickets in advance. Just make sure it lines up with your flight other wise you won't make it there on time.

now let me tell you

You can book a flight directly to victoria international airport,

Cathay pacific is good for vancouver side, I dont know whether it operates in INDIA,

If you land on vanc, You will have to take ferry , as victoria is a island ...

Now let me tell you the best option

YES THATS LOOKS VERY CONVENIENT, BTW IS IT POSSIBLE TO TAKE THE FERRY (NOT THE BUS) FROM VANCOUVER AND THEN BUS IN VICTORIA TO REDUCE CHARGES, BUT THATS POSSIBLE IF FERRY IS CLOSE TO YVR AIRPORT ?

The coach bus will be per say riding the ferry too. Cause Victoria is an island. It's just easier because you dont have to take the train and what not all the way to where the ferries are.

When you ride the coach bus you will be picked up in the airport and head straight to the ferry. Where you can get off to see the sites if you want while in the ferry. Then back to the coach and dropped off at Victoria downtown. And probably catch a bus to the university if you don't want to take the cab.

check this link danny4u2013... why would you have to take a ferry from Vancouver? There are flights to victoria from New Delhi.. There are three stops...first is at London, second is at Calgary and third is at Vancouver...from Vancouver , Air Canada flight will take you to Victoria. Have you even looked at where you are going on a map? At Victoria's Wikipedia page? Googled the city? Anything??? Bit worrying that you will be attending the University of Victoria and yet didn't even know that Victoria is on an island.

BRO, delhi to victoria is Rs 72,000 while delhi to vancouver is Rs 62,000. the difference is about Rs 10,000 or $200 while bus from vancouver airport to downtown victoria is only $60 , that why , also the ferry trip w'd give great sights as well
