Hello there,
I am 34 years old from Iran and applied for a tourist visa to Canada to visit my sister a few months ago. She has been living there for 6 years and is a citizen now. We haven't seen each other all these years and my purpose of travelling to Canada was first to visit my sister and second, to enjoy the nature and beauty of Canada. So, I applied for a tourist Visa with an invitation letter from my sister and got rejected. I showed all the required documents including my bank documents (50,000 CAD), apartment document on my name, a letter from the company that I work indicating that I would be back (I am a project manager in a software company and have been working there for 8 years), my salary, purpose of travel, invitation letter, my travel history was traveling to countries like Russia, Georgia, Thailand, Dubai, Turkey. But it seemed none of these things satisfied them. Here is also the note I got from the officer who rejected me:
"I have reviewed the application. I have considered the positive factors outlined by the applicant, including statements or other evidence: the applicant is employed. However, I have given less weight to the positive factors, for the following reasons: Taking the applicant's purpose of visit into account, the applicant does not appear to be sufficiently well established that the proposed visit would be a reasonable expense. Given family ties or economic motives to remain in Canada, the applicant's incentives to remain in Canada may outweigh their ties to their home country. The applicant's purpose of visit appears vague and poorly documented. The applicant's prior travel history is insufficient to count as a positive factor in my assessment. Weighing the factors in the application. I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay. For the reasons above, I have refused this application."
To increase my travel history and make it stronger, I got a Schengen Visa to Italy and stayed in Italy for 3 days and also in France for 3 days. but about the other negative factors, I have no idea what to do and how to prove that I have absolutely no interest to overstay in Canada. and why should i do that! If i wanted to immigrate to Canada I would do it from legal ways like my sister.
I applied on Sep. 2019 and got the rejection letter a month afterwards.
I would really appreciate any help from your sides.
Thanks a lot
