Hello everyone,
I have been living In Canada for almost 6 years. I did my 2 years business diploma program from Toronto and got my Post-Graduate work-permit. Since I didn't find any NOC 1 job in Toronto in 1 year, i decided to move to Winnipeg to work and apply for MPNP. Unfortunately, they refused me saying i have stronger ties to Ontario and also my employer didn't confirm that my job is long-term. Also, my Imm consultant screwed my case. My work-permit is expired 2 weeks ago but before that my Imm consultant sent my work-permit extension application to CIC 2 weeks ago, 1 day before of my work-permit expiry date. My work-permit expired on June 11th/2014. He said that they will refuse my new work-permit extension application anyway but u can legally work for 2 more months in this processing time at least. And he said, in the meantime i can apply for Humanitarian and compassion (H&C). I paid him for H&C already but after consulting from other people i just realize that H&C is not for me. So i have decided not to apply H&C anymore. My Imm consultant is just misguiding me and making money out of my pocket. I will just ask for the refund from him if he can and won't deal with him anymore. So I have decided that, i will apply for a new study-permit, so i can have some sort of status and get married with my Girlfriend and then she can apply for spousal sponsorship with in Canada. (She is a Canadian citizen) My question is, does she has to work full-time in order to sponsor me? because she is working part-time now and also a part-time student. Also, do we have to stay in the same apartment or a house after getting married? the reason why i am asking because i am thinking to move to Toronto after getting married because the program I will go for study is only offered in Toronto. I can afford only 1st or 2 semester fees since i will be an international student, i will be paying too much. hopefully after 1 year i will get my PR and then my tuition fees would be reduced. And lets say, if I decided to stay in Manitoba and and get a 1 bedroom apartment, is the lease should be under her name or mine or both? P.s. please do not think I am just marrying my gf to become PR. After talking to my parents I was about to leave Canada because they want me back. But My gf and I decided to get married and not to leave her because we both love each other. Please feel free to comment, i need a really good advice. Thank you

You will need to actually enroll in courses for over 6 months duration. This can be very expensive for international students. Also there is no guaranatee a study permit will be successful in getting you a new visa, if CIC thinks that you are only using it to keep status in Canada and would not leave when the permit ends.

My question is, does she has to work full-time in order to sponsor me? because she is working part-time now and also a part-time student.
No, part time work is fine. There is no mininum income required.

Also, do we have to stay in the same apartment or a house after getting married?
With an INLAND PR application, you and your sponsor MUST LIVE TOGETHER in the same home, during entire application process. Even if you are married. If CIC finds out you are not living together, they will simply cancel the inland application.

Was the job you did in Manitoba skilled(i.e. falls under NOC O, A or B)? If so, and you worked for at least 1 year, you can apply under the Canadian Experience Class.
