How to get remaining PWGP

I completed a 2 year study program in Canada in 18 months but I got PGWP only for 18 months instead of 2 or 3 years. All my friends who did the same course got work permit for 3 years. I talked to CIC agent and he asked me to re-submit the application to get a new one for 3 years.

Does anyone know anything about this? Or is there anyone who was in the same situation?

I dont knw wt u shud do
But if they said u shud definately apply again to get 3 years

But no doubt....,, they r crazy
Bcz one of my knwn got 3 year work permit on 1 year study(completed in 8 mnths) its strange!!! But it was happened,,,,
 
They are really crazy as they don't even have a valid reason for doing so. I have applied now and just waiting for their reply now..!!

this wud be really helpful..

No, ther ws nthing spcl
Applied normaly like everyone
They ppl r realy crazy..
Everything depends on their mood
Smtime they fukd the life of a good student with very good profile
Smtimes stamped visa on poor profile
 
I completed a 2 year Computer programmer program in 18 months and all my friends who got the visa for 3 year did the same course and we all graduated at same time and even applied the very same way.
 
Bro... Keep us posted on what happens. I pray that u get ur work permit for 3 years.
 
I did post graduation from University of Western Ontario. All my friends got 3 years PGWP...I got it issued for 1 year...I tried amending which was rather a waste of time...and now they say I have to reapply...by post...The course at Western is officially 2 years..but all of us completed in 1 year..People get 3 years stayback after 1 year course. I guess it is the official duration that is considered; not the duration for completion
 
I was wondering if I can apply for Permanent Residence here...I am at Edmonton now..any Idea of the eligibility?? I went through the CIC wesite..It s bloody confusing..kindly help..
