How to get PR on low CRS Score - NOC is eligible under OINP

Hi All,

I need your help understanding how foreign skilled workers who are on a closed work permit with a crs score under 400 can get PR.

I came to Canada last JUNE 2022 on a closed work permit and recently I have completed one year.

later I created an Express Entry profile. now under which program, I can apply. I know for express entry, it would be almost impossible.

I also checked my noc code which is eligible under Ontario PNP, however, in EE profile, it is showing that the criteria are not met for PNP.

Please help me to understand under which program I may get the PR.

What is your NOC? Which OINP stream? Your score is too low for OINP-EE.

My Noc code is 21232 . I am not sure I fall under which OINP steam. what is the minimum requirement for ONIP-EE? I mean, cutoff or something.

Have you researched the OINP streams which are not through Express Entry? I would look at those.

Hi @Shailesh9623 You could apply with that NOC under the Foreign Worker stream, OINP has been sending ITA for IT NOC this year, check the OINP website for more details and scoring factors.

I have a question regarding express entry. I’m on closed work permit (12013 warehouse supervisor)in Canada . In august 2023 my crs score will be 491 with 2 year of experience but my noc (TEER) code is not in the list (6 in demand occupation by ircc). Is there any chance to get invitation? My work permit is expired in august 2024. Is it worth to wait for it. I have noticed that there is not even single draw In oinp for my noc code since last year .

if you EE CRS Score is over 480 points, you won't have any issue, does not matter the NOc is on-demand or not, if you have wnough CRS score is ok to apply for PR, Good luck!

I’m worried because of new occupation specific draws and since last few draws score were high. After noc specific and general draw score will be more high by august

those are specific Draws for STEM NOCs, but it is a separate draws.
