How to get Marriage Certificate (got married in 2009) from INDIA Government while we are in CANADA due to COVID Travel Restrictions

Hi Every one

Due to travel restrictions we dont have the TRV and we are unable to go to INDIA to get the Marriage Certificate (we are from South part of INDIA)

Can some one please suggest us or help us in guiding how to get the marriage certificate with out Travelling.

A marriage certificate is issued by the Registrar of Marriages in presence of the bride and the groom and witnesses from each party along with the necessary paperwork which is done few weeks prior to the date of registration (in case any of the parties have any objection to the marriage or its registration thereof). So a physical presence is required for the signatures and photographs at least on the day of issuance, so travel would be involved for you. If you believe you would be able to provide one at a later date, you can provide an LoE explaining your situation. Can't think of any better suggestion.
