Hi Guys,

I have registered for the Express Entry and have got 425 score. however it seems like that in the draw score is not going to come down to the point that I can get the invitation to apply. And so I am trying to get the job offer and so I have few questions regarding that.

1. Applying job through JobBank - In the matched job section I am not getting jobs with matches perfectly with my skill sets and experience however, I am still applying to it. My question is, what is the chances that I will get jobs offer through job bank. ?

2. Applying job through other web portals - On other job portals I am getting jobs which I am interested in. My question is, does compnies entertain the resumes without PR

3. Do you know any consultancy in Canada which helps getting job withou PR?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
There is no way that you can just 'get a a job offer'. The job offer could be made depending on if the skill set in your resume matches the skill set the Employer is looking for in a candidate.

The other reality is that anyone who interviews you (be it an employer or a recruitment agency) will ask you for a SIN. Without this you cannot be employed.

What I suggest is to look at the jobs offered in your field and tailor your resume to show your skill set. If you're an accountant I would be happy to help you.

The JobBank hasn't been doing a good job matching skills with job requirements; I am on NOC 2171, and have been receiving job match notifications for retail manager positions

2. Applying job through other web portals - On other job portals I am getting jobs which I am interested in. My question is, does compnies entertain the resumes without PR

Several recruiters I interacted with cancelled my scheduled interviews with the prospective employers as I do not have a work permit or a PR yet. I was advised by a few to get one before applying

I don't think there are (m?)any, and unless you work on something that has a critical human resource requirement in Canada, or you possess unique skills not easily found in Canada, it is pretty difficult to land a job without some legal status.

Thanks for the offer to help.

I have 3 years of experience in Marketing and Sales, the job offers I am getting are not the perfect match however related (i.e. store manager and assistance manager) few jobs shows that I have more experience than required.

What do you think, what are the chances.

Depending upon what country you are a citizen of you may be able to get a Visa under the International Experience Class program. I would send you the link but I am typing from my phone.

At least if you qualified for a Visa under this program you would get temporary legal status and you could get a SIN and start working.

I suggest you try this and see if you're eligible. In the Marketing field there are so many people working here it might be difficult. Let me know how it goes.

Don't know of too many people who have found jobs through the job bank. Haven't really seen it on the forum too often and like you...the matches that I got don't really match my skillset or are even in my field for that matter

2. Applying job through other web portals - On other job portals I am getting jobs which I am interested in. My question is, does compnies entertain the resumes without PR

From personal experience, you may get an interview but as soon as they hear that you don't have PR or a work permit, they lose interest very quickly or tell you they'll get back to you and never contact you again. Most companies don't want to go through the immigration process to bring in workers as they need to fill positions quickly. Don't let that discourage you though..continue to apply and let them know that you're going through the PR process and having a job offer could significantly speed up processing time.

3. Do you know any consultancy in Canada which helps getting job withou PR?
No
hope that helps....my best advice would be to look into provincial nomination.
