This is really a mystery in the bigining the say
"Applications mailed to our office or dropped off in our drop box:

The fees accompanying a permanent residence application must be paid using a Bank Draft / Bank Cheque in Canadian dollars. Do not submit cash.

The fees accompanying a temporary residence application (i.e. to visit, study, or work temporarily) or a permanent resident travel document application must be paid using a Bank Draft / Bank Cheque in Canadian dollars or a postal order in British pounds."

then its mentioned
"This office does NOT accept:

Cash sent by mail or placed in the drop box
Uncertified personal cheques
Company cheques
British pound drafts drawn on foreign banks
Canadian postal orders
Euro-cheques
Credit or debit cards
Canadian dollar drafts where the “clearing bank” is not in Canada (check with your bank if you are unsure)
Currency other than Canadian dollars or British pounds"

Hi Sonea!

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/fees-frais.aspx

As per your PM too I want to clear some doubts which you have in your mind. If you are in UK you must pay your RPRF by bank draft / bank cheque in Canadian dollars. You can't pay by direct deposit into their bank account. This option is for only those people living in Nordic countries.

There are two options on how to pay RPRF in UK.

1) If you are sending your RPRF by mail / courier you need to pay by bank draft / bank cheque. Please go to your bank in UK and ask them to make a bank draft payable to "Receiver General for Canada". They will charge you some fees for that and may give you a draft in 2-3 days posted to your home address in UK. You can then mail / courier that to CHC London.

2) If you choose to go to CHC London in person you can pay by cash in Canadian dollars. Please take exact amount with you as no change will be given. You will have to appear before some officer who will take cash.

It also says if you choose to drop your application in drop box of CHC London then never put any cash in your package. Only put bank draft / cheque if you plan to leave your application in drop box of CHC London. Cash option is only available if you choose to appear in person before some officer in CHC London who will take fees in form of cash.

I hope above clears any doubts in your mind. If you still have any doubts do contact me.

With Regards.........

Hi!

Thats fine. When you will make a bank draft from your bank in UK the clearing bank will automatically be in Canada. To make sure you can check from your bank draft. It will say the name and address of Bank in Canada who will clear this Bank draft. I am sure in UK if you make a bank draft from any bank it will work.

Thanks
