How to get a lecturer job in canada

Hello Friends,
I am working as a lecturer in an engineering college in India....I would like to immigrate to canada and to do teh same there...Can anyone please tell me about how to get a lecturer job in canda..even in a polytechnic college....and also whether my bachelors here in India would be given same weightage there or not....please tell me about these two things...???
