How to fire your nanny?

Hi everyone,

I posted on here before about how disappointed we are with our nanny. She came here on the live-in caregiver program. We have employed her for more than 2 months now and it is not getting better at all. In fact she has lied to us about several things and we feel that we no longer trust her.

So my question is... how do we fire her? Do we just give her the standard 4 week notice period? Or do we need to give her a warning letter first?
