Hi,

I am interested to find a job in Canada. My qualifications are:

- 7 years experience as electrical design engineer
- Master in Engineering Physics

What is best: go to Canada as a visitor and try to find a job there or apply for permanent residence without a job offer?

Thanks for your advice.

Best place to start would be on Linkedin - have a profile setup with your qualification and education and then lookout for posting in your fields and asses the requirements.

Is this Canadian experience? If not it doesn't count.

Is this from a Canadian institution? If not it means little.

It is best to apply for a TRV specifying you are coming to look for a job and then look for the job.

If not then look for a job online, apply and then apply for a work permit with the job offer.

Thanks for the comments!

I'll do that (apply for TRV and set up a Linkedin account).
