how to fill the " to " date if I'm still till today residence of the same country

In my wokr permit ask me to fill " from " -- " to " date , how to fil to date if i still residence of the same country

i have tried ***-**-** and * and NA , non of them worke , the form is invalide .

I guess, it should be expiry date of your present status in this country.
For example: If I'm a student then I will mention my study permit expiry date..
