How to extend my working holiday visa

I’m a holder a Spanish passport I received last year a working holiday visa for one year which will be expired in a few months.
How can I extend my working holiday visa for another year ?

You cannot extend your IEC and you cannot apply for a second one.

If your employer is willing to obtain an approved LMIA, then you can switch to a closed work permit.

Alternatively, you can switch to a Young Professional visa. However in order to apply, you would need to first return to Spain. Also, there must be at least a 3 month break from the time you stop working in Canada to the time you apply for the YP visa.

Just to add about YP visa, your job offer must be in your field of expertise (schooling or work experience).
