How to expedite Visa Process to attend a competition

Respected Sir/Madam,

This is in regard to the visa application for Canada. I am a second year MBA student at University of Maryland, MD and I have been invited with my team to attend the CFA Research Challenge Competition to represent DC region in Toronto. My university team won the local competition held last week and now we have progressed to attend the Americas region to be held in Toronto on March 20-21, 2013.

I have already applied for Canadian visa online. .

I would sincerely request you to expedite my visa process so that I can receive it before the competition date and I can attend to represent DC region in the Americas round of the competition.

I have a formal invitation from CFA with the details.

Please let me know how can I best go about it so that I can get the visa on time.

I just wanted to check here if anyone knows how to do it from their past experience or if there is any better way to submit the request as I dont have much time left.

There is no expediting. Your app isn't more important than all of the people who applied before you and are still waiting.

I applied to attened a compitition next week and did not recieve reply so it means no way i can attened the compitition but i dont know if my compitition date passed, do i still get visa or not.

With the competition next week, no, you likely will not get a TRV in time. Whether you get the TRV afterwards or not, no one can say. Given the content of your other posts and the fact that you may have a brother who came to Canada as a refugee, I would say your chances of approval are very low.
