How to Edit Express Entry profile when it already shows points against my profil

While checking for PNP program: all States have a common approach which is " a Candidate need to have an Express Entry profile first, then the state will nominate that candidate based on its further criteria".

So, if I get nomination from Provinence, how can I edit that profile saying I have received Nomination from Provenience ?

Your profile will be updated automatically. Nominations are also sent to CIC in parallel. No need to worry.

That means, if I get the nomination from PNP, then my points will get increased by CIC without my intervention on my already created profile on Express entry pool ?
