Hello Friends,

With the blessings of God and my parents and with the help of wonderful people over here on this thread who helped me a lot through out the process, I am finally here in Canada.

I have a query regarding the siblings point in PR Application:

My brother is planning to file his express entry profile soon. how to claim those siblings point in EE and eAPR. What documents are required to claim those points.

the another issue is our father changed his name few years ago( he started using last name) so our birth certificates have his old name but our passports have his new name. what should we do?

He will be needing the following documents:
1) Your PR card (colored scanned copy of both sides)
2) Your address proof. Utility bills should be fine.
3) Proof of relationship. I submitted passport copies of me and my brother (both passports have matching parent names) and got my PR approved without any problem. Our birth certificates too had some parent name mismatches, so passport copies should be fine if it has both mother & father name mentioned and names on both your passports match.

Is PR card mandatory or will the signed COPR work?
Thanks!

Signed CoPR is enough, so long as you can prove that you are currently residing in Canada (lease, utility bills, etc)

Perhaps let your sibling upload an LOE stating that you have applied for the card, and are waiting for it.
