How to choose visa processing center different from courtly of residence?

You can’t choose. IRCC will send your application to the correct VO.

You can move countries thou.

How is correct VO determined? By country of residence?

Thank you. IRCC site says you can apply in a different country. We are in Canada on work permit, planning to travel overseas and renew visas there since time in Canada is almost 6 month. Do you think we should indicate that country of residence? Or include a request to process there?

What exactly is your status in Canada?
if you are on work permit you can stay inside Canada up to the expiry date on your permit. There is no 6 month for Work Permit.

Correct, we have valid work permits but need to travel outside of Canada for few weeks. Entry Visas expired, to renew them inside of Canada takes 6 months now. So thought to apply to overseas office before we leave, in the courts where will be traveling to.
