how to check the status of your application

Hi all
We applied our immigration to Canada through an agency, we have got also our temporary application number how I can't check it on the system, I always depend on them for any important information on my case.
I was wondering if there is any alternative way to check my case status by using a temporary applicatipn number.

Probably not, since CIC doesn't issue temporary application numbers in Immigration applications.
