How to check status for Study Permit online?

I dont know the exact reason for backlog and I really do not want to speculate on this. One thing I know for a fact is that the processing times are much longer in Pakistan than in most countries e.g. spousal sponsorship in Pakistan now takes 21 months whereas in India its merely 6 months.. ughhh....
Imagine people who are living in Canada have to wait almost 2 years to bring their spouse to Canada. CiC does not have a clue how it can impact the relationships!!

ReAlly, rules have changed for spousal sponsorship? My classmate got married with a cad citizen back in 2006 and her case was processed in 7 months. It was pretty quick. I can understand what you are talking about relationships. Such guys should marry with Pakistan girls born in cad but I guess they will demAnd freedom. You guys are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Salman taseer was murdered in the first week on January I'm not sure if immigration staff has gone back to cad. I'm guessing
