How to check status for Private sponsorship program online?

Hi,
I have the file number for my Private sponsorship program (G5) application which is sponsor application is approved. I tried to track the application on CiC website (Client Application Status) using my file number but it doesn't give me any information. Is there anyone who was able to track his/her application through CiC website? I know you can track the immigration applications but not sure if its possible to do the same for Private sponsorship program applications.

I tried a lot but it's not working, the immigration visa office maybe not start process on our application, it maybe the reason.

when did you sent your application?
does the file number starts with G000... ?

by the way ,the file status will not give a lot of info , just the date of receiving the file and when they have started the processing your file.
