Hi Guyz,

Do any body Know what is the process of changing college or university should i change after 1 semester or full one year can any body guide me on this.......

With a valid legal status in Canada:

1. You can change your school/course at the SAME LEVEL of education. Like from University-to-University OR college-to-college. And you don't need to notify anyone of it.

2. However, if you change from University-to-College level OR college-to-university level, you MUST apply at "Case Processing Centre, Alberta" to get required changes in your permit.

3. There is no time bound period to make above said changes.
 
Hi, I was wondering about University College. Some higher education institutes have both a university and a college designation? What does that mean?

It doesn't matter if secondary and post secondary education is a part of one institute.
 
thank you enfield for info but i have inform from some one that i have to complete at least 1 semester in the college i got admission

No, there is no such requirement at all.

ok can you update me on this also that if i wanna transfer to another college after 6 month do i need to show bank statement to other college if you can update me it would be nice

O bhai i said it's preferable because you will know the surroundings of Canada n all the good universities..poora parha karo -.-

all you need is to pay fees and nothing else.
 
No.. and secondly, you don't even have to study at least 1 semester to change. You can inform the change at Port of Entry. For example, you were going for Univ. of PEI and you changed to UofT, you'll inform it at POE that I am no longer going to PEI etc. That's it..

but Probably i will do in 1st or 2nd year i think that there is no need of bank statement scene

No, you don't need to inform anyone.

In case you are changing from Secondary to Post Secondary/Post Secondary to Secondary, you MUST apply for changes in your permit at "Case Processing Centre, Vegreville, Alberta"
