How to cancel application

Hi guys

a bit of an issue,
I requested to cancel back in December. Provided a letter from PA applicant that she wishes to withdraw application. Ever since then, nothing. Instead background verification and eligibility was completed.. we don’t want to proceed with this application. We need to open another one, how can we close this one ASAP?

How did you request the cancel? Have you submitted anything subsequently?

I would send a follow up webform. I would recommend indicating that the sponsor wants to cancel (not just the PA).

I would also contact your MP to ask for help.

I did a web form. As a sponsor..

for some reason then they contacted her to write letter indicating she wants to cancel. They never contacted me or her since…

Hmmm.... That is odd. I've never heard of that before. You, as the sponsor, have the right to withdraw the application regardless whether or not the PA agrees. I would send another webform as the sponsor and request confirmation the application has been withdrawn. I would contact your MP as well.

I agree that it's very odd. A sponsor can cancel the sponsorship application without agreeement from the PA.

they send another msg to her account. I don’t know what it is but they send HER a msg but nothing to me..I been trying to cancel for half a year… please anyone ;(
