How to calculate total first year fee to send for SDS visa when you are a funded research student?

Hello, I have a recieved an offer for MSc in CS and my per term fee estimate is coming to around $9000 (18k CAD for a year basically since two terms). However, I am a research student and my offer letter states I will recieve C$5,000 per academic year from RAship from my supervisor + can apply for GAship worth C$5500 per term.

For SDS, I was wondering can I subtract funding of RAship (and GAship too) from the total fees to pay upfront?

You can subtract only the confirmed amount (the RAship). Make sure you include all proof of funding in your application.

Preferably not to subtract from Proof of fund requirement, as funding sometimes have conditions, or rescinded if you dont meet certain requirement. To be on safe side, produce pof separate from the funding but attach proof of funding.
