Dear all, I am struggling to understand on which bases my years of experience are calculated for example I started working on 1st of January 2013, I work full time 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, which mean that I work 48 hours a week. According to the CIC website 1560 hours of work = 1 year.
So my question is from 1st of Jan 2013 to 1st of Jan 2018 are these 5 years of experience or 7 years based on the 1560 hours calculation (48 hours a week X 12 months X 5 years /1560) = 7.3

It's 5 years of experience (not 7.3). Any week where you work 30 hours or more is counted as one full time week. It doesn't matter if you work 30 hours, 60 hours or 90 hours.

I understand now, thanks a lot, well I kind of Got confused because they mentioned that the part time work can be calculated the same way
