Hello again!I have another question. How can I bring the nanny of my special child to Canada?Because my son treats her like a second mother since he grew up with her since he was a baby. How can I hire her?Should I wait to get my PR visa first then apply for her or should I be a Canadian citizen first? Is it a good idea to let my Fil-Canadian friend hire her first for few months until me and my family land to Canada?Pls.advise.Thanks?

Getting her to come with you will not be instant so getting another friend to hire her as a live-in caregiver temporarily could be a good idea. Getting a work permit for a live-in caregiver can be hard and take a long time in some countries so even if your friend offers to hire her a few months earlier, she might not be able to go to Canada until you go yourself. As soon as you come to Canada, you would have to apply for a labour market opinion for her so you can hire her. She would have to apply for a new work permit but from inside Canada, that is faster. You do not have to be a citizen to hire a live-in caregiver but I do not know how much they look at your income and you must have enough space so she has a private bedroom. Once you get an LMO and she gets the work permit for you, she can start working for you again.

Thanks for the reply.I know it would be really difficult for me and my son,but if that's the only way, then we'll do that.God bless you.:-)
