How to assess EOI elligibility without language test taken?

I was wandering is it possible to determine eligibility using the tool on CIC website as the first question they ask - which language test did you take?

In my case - none (yet), so it tells me that I am not eligible. This is confusing, because this tool should be able to 'pre-assess' you based on some current data,

before you even started your application process.. I think.

You're right the CRS tool uses language, biographical data and general work experience and Educational Credential data for pre-assessment. If you're determined to be eligible the information is transferred to your Express Entry profile where you populate the detailed part of your profile.

Your language scores are a key determinant for 'Human Capital' points so its important to do as well as you can in the test.

Thanks for the feedback.

So, basically you should do the language test and ECA way before you can even asses your chances.
And if they are low, then it's the money wasted for nothing?

Btw, I see that an employment offer can greatly increase your chances. do you know any job agency that actually facilitates that? Like matching agency?

If you want to be able to use any crs calculator, you will need to be able to provide a language exam result and a eca result.

If you just want to check to get an idea of what your scorwill most likely be once you have completed both of those steps, just fill in whatever you think you mig be able to get on both of those and that should give you a good idea of where you stand.

Once you have the proper results you can simply re-do the assessment and get your real result that you can then use for your profile.
