Hi
We are from Ukraine, living in Edmonton. A year ago we applied for PR. Couple days ago we received an invitation for medical exam.
I would like to go this summer to the Spain, to visit my mom.
I have a spanish PR card, so I do not need spanish visa, just Сanadian
My youngest daughter has a Сanadian passport, she doesn't need any visa at all
My oldest daughter needs Spanish and Сanadian visas
My hubby needs both visas as well
Should we wait for our PR cards? Or apply for visas now? if so can we do it online or we must go to Toronto to Spain embassy?

Have you and your family maintained status in Canada while waiting for your PR applications to be approved?

If not and you are all currently living in Canada and only one of your children is a canadian citizen and the rest of your family has not been granted PR yet or maintained legal status then I personally would not be travelling until you receive your PR cards.

You will all be able to leave Canada with no problems, but you may be refused entry back into Canada.

What visa are you on now? If you are on a work permit then you and your family can all apply for a visa to return from within Canada before you leave to Spain. It may not be a good idea to leave and apply for a visa outside Canada if you have a pending permanent residency application.

Once you get the Canadian visa you can then easily obtain a schenghn visa.
