How to apply for my spouse's visitor visa? I'm an international student

Hi. May I ask what's the best way to apply for my wife's visitor visa?
I'm an international student (student visa holder), Winter 2022 intake, and I've been here in Canada since March 2022. We also applied for a student visa (me) and OWP (my wife) last year 2021 and we both got rejected. Any advice and recommendations?

Also, I have a few questions as well:
1. Is it true that we can invite a spouse to go to Canada? If Yes, will this be an advantage to have a higher chance of approval, and what are the requirements and processes?
2. If item #1 is not applicable, should I apply for my spouse's visitor visa using my own IRCC account or does she need to create one and apply on her own?
3. Do you recommend buying a plane ticket before applying for a visitor visa or should we wait first for the approval of the application?

Thank you

You can write a letter of invitation. Doesn’t necessarily increase chances if she has no immediate family in your home country. She needs to show funds for a vist, ties to home country (job letter with leave, property, investments, loans, children), travel history and reasons to visit. She was refused for an OWP so needs to declare it. She really should be reapplying for a OWP unless coming for a short visit. Do not buy a plane ticket but include a travel itinerary.

For the application, am I the one to apply for my wife's visitor visa through my IRCC account or does she need to apply using her own account?
Also, we do not have a child or property. What else can we use as supporting reasons/ documents to strengthen the application?

Thank you

She should be applying for an SOWP. But since she is coming to visit, she shows her employment letter with approved leave for a visit. She shows the funds to support a visit above and beyond your funds that you showed for your study permit. She shows travel history to countries that require a visa to show she abides by immigration laws.

She applies but you can act as her representative (forms to sign). She can have her own account.
