How to Apply for Canadian PR directly without hiring a consultant

Hi,

I'm Sree, would like to apply for Canadian FSW PR for 2014. I've approached one consultant in Hyderabad (India) and they are charging around 85K for the processing.

Is this really required to hire a consultant for processing FSW program or can we do this directly?

I've gone through FSW 2014 Global Spreadsheet, I came to know that most of them did not hired any consultant.

No - it's not required to hire a consultant. You can apply on your own.

invest some time on CIC website and this forum then surely you will be able to apply on your own,you can always come back to this forum for help if you encounter difficulties while preparing your application.

Determine your eligibility then apply through the appropriate route.

You certainly do not need to hire a consultant to help with your application. The application kit is laid out in a very easy to follow manner that should not be difficult at all to do by yourself. (This said, it still took us several months to prepare everything we needed for our application).
