I'm a Canadian mother, I got my Citizenship from my Father who was immigrated there, so I think I'm Considered as a second generation, But at this time i'm outside Canada, I live in Jordan-Amman, and I gave birth three weeks ago,so my question is am I able to apply for my baby girl from Jordan, and if yes, can you please let me know what is the name of the application ?

Need a bit more info.

Was your father already a Canadian citizen when you were born?

Were you born inside or outside of Canada?

That is the link for the forms. There is also an eligibility questionnaire to make sure you/she qualifies.

Congrats!

I was Born outside Canada, and my father wasn't Canadian when I was born, because we went there as an immigrant, when I was under 18 , thats why I took my citizenship from my father.

Then I highly doubt your daughter can get the canadian citizenship through you.

Then you are a naturalized Canadian. Minors cannot apply for citizenship but their parents can apply on their behalf. So your father didn't give you his Canadian citizenship, he simply applied for you to become a citizen.

As an immigrant, the only way you could become a Canadian citizen was through naturalization. There is no way that you could have gained citizenship through your father.

As a naturalized Canadian, your child is also Canadian. Follow the link posted by MadeinCanada to apply for her Certificate of Citizenship.

On the website it also states:

If your child is a Canadian citizen, use the Application for a Citizenship Certificate under section 3 (CIT 0001).

So double check the forms to make sure you are using the correct one/s.

I have a question for you.. In this link the application is asking for information about the child's parent, if you look at number (8) it is split for two, one for the mother and the other one is the same but for the father, but my husband is not Canadian, so what am I supposed to write in the blank that is asking about proof of Canadian citizenship for my husband.?

and for number (9) it's asking about , {{when did the child become a permanent resident of Canada? }} but my child have never been to Canada yet, and still she is not Canadian yet, so what am I supposed to write?

It's the wrong application. That is for those applying for citizenship. Your child is already a citizen, you need only to apply for a certificate of citizenship.

This is the correct application http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0001ETOC.asp

In this application for section 8 . Do you know what should I fill for ( Father ) Section since he is not Canadian yet. Should I leave it blank, or should I write ( not canadian yet )?

If you leave it blank they may think you forgot to fill it. I would put N/A and on an additional paper write the form number at the top and the section it refers to and then explain that he is not Canadian and if it applies that he has never been in Canada ect.

Sorry about the form mix up, that is why I posted to make sure the forms were correct, as I noticed afterwards that it said this:

If your child is a Canadian citizen, use the Application for a Citizenship Certificate under section 3 (CIT 0001).
