My study visa is approved for Sept 2015 in dental assistant program, how soon I can enter in Canada after my study permit is approved?

Technically u can enter any time after getting visa but Preferably u should enter within 1.5 month before your classes begin. If u enter 3-4 months earlier , they might doubt ur intentions and can send you back unless u have very strong reason to enter that Earlier.

I have some prerequisite for my dental assistant course like WHIMS, police Clearance record, CPR first aid + I have to arrange my lodging so I have some strong reason. I will like to go in 1st week of July(2 months prior) if there is no issue in that?

I can't see any problem if you go to Canada as early as now. Just make sure that your visa is valid to enter canada, plus I cannot see any restrictions in CIC for international stidents to come to canada too early. VO already gave our visa so they believe that our main intention is to study and not to work. Why should they have to doubts if we came early?

My class will start on end week of August and I booked my flight on may 24, 2015. They said that its risky to flg early but for me it's not. Just make sure you have money to support your stay there without working.

Hi excuse me, could you please answer my following questions:

1_ Can I change my DLI number after I entered Canada?

2_Will there be any problem if my new admission letter( the one the DLI number is changed for) is for Fall 2019 while my initial admission letter is for Winter 2019? Does the IRCC ask me what I am going to do during this long period ( from winter to fall)? And If yes, can we prove them that our residential costs will still be payed by the supporter?

Thanks a lot.
