How soon can I arrive before my study intake?
My intake is in January and I was thinking probably late November or December. Hence will give me enough time to settle and know my routes to school. What do you think ?
But what's concerning me is I already have my passport stamped with an expiry date, will this affect my study permit dates as well?
Yes late nov/dec is totally fine.

No worries. Thanks @nyeb that's what I'm considering. I'll look up that thread, do you know which on it is?

can you share the link from cic’s website where the official declaration was posted so that everybody would have a reference? since it is officially declared, then there should be a posting in canadian immigration website.
