How recent should my documents be when applying for a study permit ?

Hi all

I still didn’t receive my admission letter, but to save some time I want to prepare the required documents so I could apply as soon as I get accepted. So how recent should my documents be when I apply ? Bank statement, medical certificate, police certificate, etc ?

Also, another question. I am Jordanian, but born and lived my whole life in Kuwait. I only lived in Jordan for five years and it’s been more than 2 years since I have been there. Do I have to get a police certificate from Jordan too ?

You have to get the police clearance for all countries where you have stayed for more than 6 months since 18 years of age.

I just started the application, but in the document checklist there is no police clearance anywhere. Only passport, photo, proof of funding and acceptance letter from university

If no police clearance is asked then no need to submit. It is not applicable for all countries. follow the checklist and visa office instructions checklist for your country.
