Hello everyone,

Is there an expiration date for 1 employment letter 2 translated documents such as the household registry and National IDs. How recent do these documents have to be?

If I have an employment letter dated June 1st, 2012 but won't be sending the application in the mail until September 2012, by the time the Intake office receives my application will these documents expire?

Thanks!

I got my reference letter from my previous employer when I resigned from that position in Sep 2011, submitted my application in Dec 2011. I don't think that is a problem as long as the fact stated in the letter would not change...

However, if the letter is from your current employer, it may be better to get a most recent one as it impacts the calculation of your hours of work.

The letter needs to include the entire time period that you are claiming for your experience. If you need the period between June 1 and September XX to meet the work requirement, you will need a new letter.
