Hi,
Does anyone send their passport to Singapore VO?
I submitted mine through Vietnam VFS to Sing VO for stamping on Mar 05, and there’s still no movement shown on the tracker yet.

Passport send December 10th 2019
Tracking # was send December 12th 2019 from vfs. We have not heard any thing from the Canada embassy Kingston Jamaica. 4 months now. Application is PR.

Can anybody answer my question below?

I am the main applicant temporarily in Germany. I got the PPR and everything. Now I have to submit my passport to VFS to stamp my visa.

My spouse is in Asia and we both need to submit our passport to VFS. Is it okay if I submit my passport in Germany and if my spouse submits the passport in India? (We both initiated the process in India and I'm currently in Germany as a student)

Please guide me

It shouldn't be a problem, but you should make sure VFS in Germany know which visa office they need to send it to. Explain to them that you applied from India.

Thank you. So me and my spouse can submit from different countries at the same time?

And how can I explain them that I applied from India? Is it asked in any of their form?

Hope I can collect the passport back in Germany, not in India

Yes, VFS are only basically a courier service exclusive to Canadian embassies and visa offices.

It's like if you sent it by DHL from Germany and India to the same address, it would arrive in the same place.

The only thing i would check with them is usually there is a form you submit with your passport, and there's a schedule detailing all the applicants you are applying for, i.e. you and your spouse. This is usually submitted along with your passport, and it just identifies how many people are part of your application and need to be issued COPRs and PR visas (if necessary).

You should verify with them whether both passports have to be submitted together in the same envelope or whether they can be submitted separately.

Is PR Visa Stamping required to be done only in the country of Residence or we can choose to change the visa office to another country?

you would need to raise a web form requesting a change in visa office with the relevant reasons. IRCC will review request and send new instructions for visa stamping.

yes. although it obviosuly depends on the length of visit.
You mean the length of visit affects IRCCs decision to allow this change or not? Lets say I am visiting a country for 10-15 days only, then what?

I doubt they will that for only a 10-15 day visit. That is way too short.

I would think at the very least the trip should be a month (at least) then there might be some consideration.
