Yes, I got the same thing. It is just an extension for the deadline to submit your passport - a few other people also reported this in this thread and they received their passports without incident.

27th Jan'2020. Reached NDVO on 30th Jan'2020.

We submitted our passports at the VFS in New Delhi on the 31st of January, and processing at the NDVO began on the 3rd of Feb. Anxiously waiting for a response, as we are soon supposed to travel to the US for work. Crossing fingers that NDVO expedites the process.

I submitted my passport at vfs Bangalore on 28 Jan and it reached Delhi on 29 Jan and the processing started on 30 Jan. It's still showing under process at IRCC office New Delhi. It has been more than 20 days now. Anyone in the same situation?

Similar - submitted on the 31st of Jan in New Delhi, and processing began on the 3rd of Feb.

I had taken my old passport as well but VFS gave it back to me and kept only the recent passport.

Same here. They said that they dont need old passports just the recent one. Did they make copies of the old passports or just viewed and gave it back to you?
