How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

Dear all,

Thank you for all the great work you are doing here, helping newbies and novice like me.

My question is on identification documents for children when filling the post ITA profile. Assuming the child is an American citizen and a South African citizen, parents are South Africans, and they live in South Africa currently. Would it be necessary to input both South African and American passport or just the American passport which the parents intend to use for the child. Child's birth certificate was obtained in the USA.

Secondly, is it necessary to scan all VISAs and stamps from previous passports.

Which is your VO? Nowadays NDVO is also taking around 1 month of time for many cases may be due to many student visa applications.

Yes, it was updated 14th June, when I got dispatch status.

Congratulations!! As I said earlier, it will take time but it will definitely come.

Update: I submitted my passport on 7th June and collected it from Delhi VFS today, 19th June. Got approved update in my CIC account and ready for collection update on VFS tracking website yesterday.

I got a message from VFS that passport has been processed and dispatched from NDVO.

However my CIC account shows no update is this normal? When will my application reached to approved status ??

I am from Mauritius, sent passport to Canadian Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa on the 13th June 2018, they received the passport on 15th June 2018. let's hope it's as quick as for the other application, and get it before end of this month.
