How much time for Passport Stamping Visa

Can you please your valuable views/experiences that how much New Delhi CHC takes for stamping of Visa and that time what message shows by Ecas?

This is just to keep this post alive...my timelines for medicals are

Medical/PPR/RPRF Request Received on 8th July, The date in the letter was 2nd July

Done with the Medicals on 13th July

Send my Med. Receipts/PP/RPRF on 14th July...

Post yours n keep this thread alive till we get good enough responses...

Hi All,

I am also in the same boat. My timelines arer available in my signature. I sent my passports on 3rd July 2010 and CHC ND received iti on 5th July 2010. Still waiting for the visas.

From what I saw on this forum and heard from some of my friends here who have already received their visas, it usually takes somewhere between 2 weeks to 4 weeks for the visas to come.

Hopefully we will all get ouor passports back soon with the visas stamped on iti.

i sent my medical landing fees and pp on 22nd june still waiting for passport,ecas shows we started processing ur file on 16 june,though i have already recived my landing fees reciept

So ...it takes 2-4 weeks for visa stamp?
I sent my passports on the 5th July.
Will they stamp the visa in the passport or is it a separate card?
What does the status say on the ecas when they receive the passport, mine still says in process.

Pls do let me know if anyone has sent their passport in and recvs their visa?

keep patience u will get ur passport within 45 days in normal cases. u got receipt these means they are working on it.

Yes they will stamp visa on ur passport itself no separate card. along with landing papers which u have to carry while travelling.

Check ur Ecas. It will show IN PROCESS. Click IN PROCESS if you see below Medicals received u are 99.99% close to getting ur visa stamped shortly.
