How much time does it take for VISA stamping after WP approval

Hello,

Quick and Urgent question: How much time take does it take to get VISA after Work Permit approval?

If i apply for VISA in this week, will i get it stamped before October? I have to visit my back home in mostly first week of October. Please suggest me honestly to go apply now or not because of strike action.

Does any one applied and got it in time? thanks a lot.

In short if you apply now you should receive it in a month or so (Faster yo apply online because of the strike.)
Providing there are no delays and you filled out the forms correctly.

One of my friend is in qeue since long.
1st applied in 2012 and after about 6 month got rejected saying - documents could not be verified.
applied again about 08 months ago, got medical, submitted passport about 2 month ago, asked to resend police certificate as expired and now again waiting for more than a month.
Buddy now you can well assess, i believe.
anyhow, nothing to be depressed - will n hope keeps live
