How much time does George brown take to confirm your application?

I applied for graduate degree certificate course at George brown in the first week of Jan- 4th jan to be precise. Today is 1 st april and still I havent gotten anything from GBC. I have mailed them several times , they just reply saying- it’d take 8 weeks max and just wait etc etc. I also have Humber’s admit which i got in february itself and its deadline to pay fees is 7th april. I want GBC but i am tired of waiting also, what should i do?

I have applied too in George Brown College when the admissions were opened in December 2020, but did not hear anything from them. But, let me tell you, one of my good friend had applied after me with higher GPA than me, he got acceptance long back. To be honest, our applications are not processing since they have already started giving acceptance to the candidates who have higher GPA than us and our admission indirectly depends on those applicants since if they choose to reject the offer by not paying the fees and go for some other college, George Brown College will come to us with the Offer Letter for your money. I would suggest, better not wait and pay your Humber College Deposit Fees since now a days, Admissions are really competitive due to a lot of students enrolling. I don't want to loose your admission from Humber as well. Hope you get the acceptance from George Brown College soon!

But atleast they should send rejection or waitlisting something you know. My application is just in submitted state since January. I think I should go for Humber as I dont have other choice

I can completely understand that situation. But, they will not send you rejection too that early since if those applicants above you reject the offer and before that if they have already rejected you, their seat will go vacant.
