How much time does cic take to provide ppr after file compltion

Hi All,

I am creating this thread to know about the time it takes cic to provide passport request.i completed and submitted my file on Nov 4 2017,my medical got cleared in about 15 days,I last checked my profile on 16 Jan 2018 and it still says under additional documents that the documents are bieng reviewed and under background check it says that it's not applicable.can someone please help me in knowing how much time will it take from this point onwards in getting my ppr? Also what do they check in additional documents?

I know it will be not possible to predict the exact time,but if someone can shed some light it will be really helpful

My profile is also showing same status @Aditya61190. I had submitted my application on January 5th, 2018, my medicals cleared in 12 days and background check also went to NA from "We are processing your Background check" on January 18th. Its just the waiting game since then.

I think, its nothing to worry about though. Latest PPR approvals were given to candidates who submitted application around mid October and early November last year.

Hopefully, your PPR isn't too far.

It's just that I too applied at the start of Nov last year,while some people have already got their ppr who applied even after Me I am still waiting ,it's frustrating at times

But yeah like Lp27 said hoping for the best
