Dear All,

I need sincere assistance from you to find out the answer of my query.

I am a permanent Resident through Provincial Nominee Program. I have landed Canada in July 2013 and spent 3 month there. I have got my PR card and then I came back to my homeland. I need to find out that how long can I stay out side Canada...

1. I know that a Permanent Resident is allowed to live outside Canada for 3 years within 5 years, but I want to know if it is applicable on PNP immigrants as well?

2. Can I stay in my homeland for more than 6 months at once?

I will appreciate, of any of you answer my question with any authentic reference.

Best Regards,
Farhan Haider.
