How much time after submission of documents

Hi...my 120 days will expire on October 5, 2010. Now I want to know if I submit all the documents by first week of September, when will the visa officer call to my employers for verification. As my wife is pregnant and she want to leave the job in about a month or so. If visa officer calls her employer and she is off her job, will it make any difference? Her job is a contractual government job, so she is not entitled for any maternity leave. My wife is a primary applicant.

Also, I would like to know will there be employment verification of me also, as I am not the primary applicant ??

hi there buddy...

if ur wife wants to leave the job not a problem, verification will be done, u and ur wife have to inform the employer that they might get a call from immigration office and they have to handle it smoothly.

Hi Mithun...thanks for your reply....just tell me how long does it take at New Delhi office after submission of documents. Also should I inform the embassy about my wife's pregnancy or let them know by themselves in the medicals ??
