Hello guys,

It takes 14 weeks for the processing of study permit in my country.I applied on 7th April and appeared for Medical on 25th june.I was asked by CIC to submit additional documents on 5th july.I submitted those documents on 19th July.Now today 14 weeks are completed after I filed my application. Please guide me when should I email CIC for processing of my application?

Am in the same situation
I applied with upfront medicals
On 18april and my processing time
Then Is 10weeks
Now it 3months+ no reply from them
Don't mail them
That's my advice just leave them
They will surely contact u when the
Time is right
Don't rush them in making wrong decision
Just PRAY.

It looks as if you'll be getting your decision soon. You submitted additional documents three days ago so you should give CIC some time to review them -- maybe a week or two. If you don't hear from them after that you should go ahead and email.
 
I am in the same situation. I also uploaded my additional documents on the 16th of July. No news yet. As far as I understand, unless we upload our additional documents, they don't even start looking at our application.

I don't know who you asked this question to. But in my case they sent me a message in my CIC portal. I had to upload the documents online in my CIC portal.
 
Hello enywmara,

I was also asked in the letter to submit additional documents but in my case they told me to email additional documents on the address of abu dhabi office.

Hi Fakro,

Please are you sure that emailing them may lead to a wrong decision. From where did you get this advice?
