Hi sir/madame, my wife filed my case through CRC Mississauaga with following details
case filed - 20/2/09
case approved - 13/3/09 (sponsorship application approved)
QCS approved - 31/3/09 -do-
file opened - 21/4/09 (local embassy islamabad)
a letter asking 4 services details - 15/10/09 (which was already sent with application complete in all aspects)
wt shud i do as no further reply from embassy n my 1 year old lil daughter waiting 4 me in canada n i m still here n also how much time it wil take after i get decision fm embassy till i get my passport back with visa stamp in a month or so.................or like wt

I applied in May and I am still waiting ... no option but to be patient I guess... My medicals will expire this month too...

just try to be patient and check your visa timelines on trackitt this may your can have a general idea how long it takes for your visa office to finalize the applications.

Thnx 4 all ur replies....................................timeline given on High Commission of Canada islamabad site shows 6 months which r expired on 21st october si rightly i m v v v hopeful that i wil get result in a month or so ......................................patience n hope 4 the best is only thing i can do right now besides praying however thnx 4 replies once again i m honoured take care

I have same case as you mentioned, Actualy I am planning to sponsor my husband working in KSA we all got the immigration but my husband lost his imm due to residency obligation.
I need some info about to how apply the application either byself or need any lawyer (money matter).
what about the fee payment is it special recipt or just send the drafft.

On the CIC wesbite it says Islamibad's cases take the following amount of time to process on average:
30% cases take 6 months
50% - 8 months
70% - 11 months
80% - 14 months

You will have to be patient as it could take over a year....but we all keep our fingers crossed for you especially as you have your little child waiting
