I knew before that you have to show the tuition plus $10,000 for living and extra for the travel cost. However, one of the universities that offered me a place said this in the offer letter:

Tuition fees: Approximately $20,515 + $18,300 in additional costs (for example, accommodations) per
academic year (this is the current fee range, and is subject to change). One academic year is comprised
of three semesters.

So, is it $10,000 + travel cost or $18,300?

It is 18,300 CAD for you. Most universities provide a similar figure and it includes costs for accomodation, food, books, transportation, entertainment, clothing, etc.

It seems like everyone says something contradictory.

I have just heard that what the university puts in the offer letter about the estimation of living cost is irrelevant. We are supposed to follow the CIC guidelines and show at least first year's tuition fees along with $10,000 for living cost and $2/3K for flight.
